The day before we left Switzerland it was snowing. The snowplaus were constantly working to keep the roads free of snow.

On the 28. of January, when we got up in the morning, it was freezing cold: Minus 2 or 3 degrees Celsius. At least it wasn't snowing anymore, so we got to the airport without any problems.

When we arrived in Perth after a long flight, it was roughly 25 C° and cloudy. Next day, the 30 of January, the weather was absolutely great, nothing but sunshine and 35 C° in the shade.

On Saturday, the 31 of January, we took a walk along the Swan River. From the riverside of South Perth we had a great view of Perth skyline. We have got a nice appartemant in South Perth and just have a view of the skyline past a tree.

We saw lots and lots of these Birds. They sure make a lot of noise, especially wenn there are a lot of them together. The Kakadoo.
