In the three days we spent in Kalgoorlie we had quite a good look around.
On the first day after our arrival we had a little look around by ourselfs
and also climbed up a headframe which gave us a nice 360° view.
The second day we went on a tour of the town which was very informative- we got
to hear a lot of stories about the town, the buildings, the people and ofcourse
about goldfever. As part of the tour we also got to have a look at the "Super pit"
from a lookout. The second part of the tour was "free time" to explore the
tourist mine.
We also decided to take a scenic flight which gave a an idea of the size of the
"super pit" and the surroundings. Unfortunatly it was difficult to take
resonable photographs.
